Hey there! Happy Monday 🙂 I took some time away from the blog (and even cut back on IG) to enjoy our last few days of Summer, try to get back into a routine, and just not take pictures every day of my life. Haha. Every once in a while I like to take a few weeks to chill out, not document every little thing and just LIVE. It feels great, let me tell you. Summer is ending strong on the weather front, that’s for sure. It has been hot. I’m all for it, however it does make getting dressed in the morning a bit tricky. A long sleeve shirt may be OK for the morning commute, but come lunch break you’ll have your makeup running down your face! It’s nice to not need a jacket, but I’m still trying to wear outfits that are transitional to Fall. I found this pair of flare denim hidden in my closest and love the cut and color for a late Summer/early Fall denim. They’re a weeeee bit big (almost 10 years old) but that’s ok to me – just adds even more of that 70’s feel 🙂
I absolutely loved this top in the Summer with high waisted shorts and sandals, and I’m so happy that I can take the embroidered detail with me into the next season.
I love to coordinate my shoe and bag colors (most times super easy because everything I have is neutral, haha) so I’m wearing this tan leather shoulder bag and tan booties to tie in the look and make sure it is Fall ready.
Hope you guys like this look! And don’t be afraid of wearing your own flare denim – they look absolutely amazing with boots and a sweater once the temp drops a bit.
Have a great rest of your Monday <3
p.s thanks to my hunny for taking these 😉
