Oh, the Fall Uniform. I feel like everyone has one, whether we realize it or not. You know the deal – you have 9,000 articles of clothing in your closet, yet somehow you end up wearing the same things over and over again. I’m always grabbing the t-shirts that are on top in my drawer, the scarf that’s closest to me on my way out the door, etc. Because I know that I always do this, I really tried to be mindful when doing my Fall shopping. Do I buy that awesome top that I have to find an occasion to wear out for? Or do I buy cozy t-shirts, scarves and distressed denim for days? I ended up going with the latter. Nine times out of ten, my “getting dressed” routine goes like this: pick a shirt, pick a denim, pick a boot, throw on a scarf and a leather jacket and I am out the door! This is my go-to outfit for early dinner plans or to wear when I’m traveling on the weekends (p.s. SO glad I replaced my old weekend bag with this one!) I usually end up taking my leather jacket off and draping my scarf over my shoulders at some point, too. On this particular day wandering around the steps of the Met, the sun was very warm so I was glad to be able to take my jacket off!
Do you guys have a Fall Uniform? What do you wear?!
Have a great Monday
