Fall Refresh

Hey hey and Happy Friday! With Fall officially in the air (at least for now), it felt about time to bring some Autumn vibes into the apartment.  In efforts to avoid yet another trip to Home Goods, I wanted to give a little Fall refresh by working with what we already had in the apartment.  I tottttally forgot that we had these pillows in our closet.  Admittedly, they are not my favorite (I bought them at HG when we first moved in but they got replaced shortly after, ha), but for Fall they definitely do the trick!  My Kate Moss book just travels around the apt, either at home on the coffee table or in our little decorative shelf corner (see below), and these candles I already had from a tray display that we had on the table during the holiday season.  The only thing that I did actually purchase was a bunch of little white pumpkins ($2 at UnSq farmer’s market!) and some Fall hued bouquets to keep on the shelves and the bar cart.  Of course if you’re up for going all out with the decor, that’s super fun too!  But I find that the change of pillows, addition of flowers and throwing some pumpkins around gets the job done, not to mention it’s the most affordable route.  If I was feeling a bit more ambitious I would have gotten a bale of hay for the balcony, haha!  Oh yeah, we also threw some orange lights around the TV! Makes for a great Halloween vibe while watching some of the classics 🙂

What do you guys do for a Fall refresh? Do you buy lots of decor or keep it simple?

Hope you have a great day! I’m off to Pure Barre EMPOWER training! Ahh.
