Two Hands Cafe

If you live in NYC and haven’t seen or heard about Two Hands cafe by now, my guess is that you live under a rock.  Just kidding.  However, I am not kidding when I say that this place really took off, especially in the land of social media.  Countless tags and check-ins at this spot were seen all over Instagram, and you know by now that I always need to see what the hype is all about.  This little cafe on Mott St is brought to us by Australians, who strived to create a light and airy space that reminds customers of the beachy lifestyle they were so used to.  I first visited this place in the Fall of last year, and even then I felt like I was transported to a more relaxing, “non-city” atmosphere.  I love how so many places in the city really take the time to develop a design concept that presents an experience, for lack of a better word.  You can spend all of your meal taking in all of the little details!

Two Hands

Any time of year, I am a sucker for a Flat White. MMMMM.

And because my girls and I always love to share, Erica and I grabbed a few different things to split.  Smashed avocado toast (obviously) with crushed red pepper, sea salt, olive oil and a lemon wedge, only $7.00.  We also got a salad with mixed greens, gorgonzola, cranberries and sunflower seeds, which isn’t currently on their menu.  That’s another great things about these cafes that I feature; the menus are seasonal and continuously changing.  You can visit multiple times and never have the same thing twice.  The most expensive salad is $13.00, which I think is pretty awesome! You have the option to add smoked salmon, chicken, prosciutto or chorizo if you wanted to have a salad for an entree.

And because we are fruit fanatics, we also grabbed the Acai Bowl, which is frozen blueberries and bananas, cacao and acai powder with almond milk, gluten-free granola, coconut, cacao nibs, almonds, hemp seeds, chia seeds, and berries, $9.00

This place is pretty much always busy, but if you get there just before the lunch crowd hits around 12:30, you’ll be able to snag a table! Another yummy cafe to hit up while you are wandering around Soho to shop.

Two Hands Cafe

Two Hands Cafe is very affordable, and I highly recommend it!
